Spring 2025 Mardi Gras Guest Policy

Starting Friday, February 28 - Wednesday March 5, 2025 all guests of residents in Pontchartrain Halls between must be registered and follow our Mardi Gras Visitor Policy as outlined in the Pontchartrain Hall Handbook.

Pontchartrain Hall residents may register up to two guests for the Mardi Gras period (February 28 - March 5, 2025), with all guests required to depart by 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 5. The online pre-registration form, costing $50 per guest, must be completed by Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Late registrations will be available from Wednesday, February 19, to Wednesday, February 26, at an increased fee of $75 per guest.

Mardi Gras Guest Registration Hours of Operation

Once you have been approved, the and their guest(s) must come to the Office of Residential Life in person at Pontchartrain Hall North N128 between the hours of 8:00 AM until 4PM Monday - Friday to receive their guest wristband(s) and/or if there is any assistance needed with the registration process. After these hours, the process will continue at your respective front desk.

Residents will NOT be given wristband(s) for their guest(s) without their guest(s) present with them. Residents should plan their travel plans accordingly with their guest(s).
