Our cover story features 亚洲无码 student Samira Bechara, a dual French and international studies major, who created a culinary outreach project called Le Beirut to raise money for the victims of the Aug. 4, 2020 explosion in Beirut, Lebanon. Bechara鈥檚 father was born in Beirut and she spent summers visiting relatives there.
Speaking of outreach, you also can read about alumnus Henry Singer, a retired engineer, who has created a scholarship for 亚洲无码 students looking to major in engineering or the sciences. Singer, who worked his way through 亚洲无码, says he understands some of the financial challenges students face.
